Paul Jensen

Paul Jensen is a wandering spiritual songwriter who explores the high deserts of Western Colorado and Eastern Utah, seeking out the inspiration for his incredible works of art. The impetus for Paul’s art is seclusion in the wilderness. One of Paul’s great passions in life was spent taking care of his vineyard next to the beautiful Colorado National Monument with its enchanting canyons and towering spires and red rock formations. From this period in his life Paul was able to delve even deeper into earth concepts and how they relate to the music he writes, as well as continuing to grow and cultivate his unique brand of mysticism. Jensen’s work has been receiving critical acclaim by avid fans across the globe. His work has been described as “extremely contemplative,” and is so complex that it has been used in middle school testing for advanced students. Paul’s fan base is growing as word spreads about this songwriter’s deep, rich music.

Paul recently finished his 3rd release, entitled “The Other Side”. Legendary Grammy award winning producer/songwriter/friend, Will Ackerman, produced this project, as well as playing on the album. In addition, Will assembled an impressive list of artists to help accomplish the task of finding the essence of Paul’s work. Click here to learn more about these artists.

B.E. (Brad) Butler

B.E. ("Brad") Butler was born and raised in the plains of Eastern Colorado.  He grew up with a great appreciation of Nature's beauty. Having always loved the art, Brad made the decision to pursue photography full time about ten years ago. He realized that what he enjoyed so much about hunting & fishing was not the hunt or the fish, but the scenic beauty that surrounded him while he was outdoors. Brad says, “there are and have been many artists in the world, but none that compare to Mother Nature. My goal is to capture this beauty and bring it to you the way I see it.” Brad hopes you enjoy visiting his website. He believes that while not all of his pictures will be special to everyone, you will find some images that are special to you.

Brad is available to photograph your wedding, take your senior pictures, or capture any other special event.  Hire B.E. Butler.

Carole Coakley started painting about fifteen years ago.  It was something she always wanted to do, and once her family was raised she got started.  Carole spent a year or so taking lessons, and then took off on her own.  She has created in water colors, acrylics, and pastels, but enjoys working best with oils.  Carole recently took on a very special student and enjoys passing on her insight and skills.  She loves the creative process and especially likes knowing that her art has become a part of someone's home.

~

Carole peacefully passed away on December 8, 2008, at her home, surrounded by loved ones.  Her artwork, as well as her family and friends, remains as a living tribute to a life well-lived by a wonderful person.

Jane English grew up in a small town in New England, did undergraduate work at Mount Holyoke College, and began photographing while completing a Ph.D. in physics at the University of Wisconsin. She then decided not to continue with a science career but to do photography.  Her black and white photographs of nature illustrate six books, including a best-selling translation of the Chinese classic Tao Te Ching, published in 1972 by Random House.  Her other interests include gardening, skiing, amateur radio and hot air ballooning.  She founded Earth Heart in 1985.  After living in Mount Shasta, California for 15 years, Jane moved back to her native New England in 2002.  Most of Jane's recent books and calendars have been published by Amber Lotus, giving her time to focus on creative work rather than on business matters.

Amber Allman, founder of Kiss of Love Music, has enjoyed a 30-year career in journalism, and began turning a longtime hobby of writing and singing music into a business in 2004, with the release of “Heartsong.”  Since 1986, Amber has recorded numerous demos and four album projects, beginning with an original country album. She released two Christian rock albums in the early 1990’s, which were used as gifts to inmates during two-and-a-half years of prison ministry.  After a ten-year hiatus from music, to ‘pursue her relationship with Jesus Christ,’ she returned to the studio. Her most recent effort, “Heartsong,” began as a singer/songwriter album. But with instrumentation performed by platinum-selling New Age recording artist, Medwyn Goodall, it took on the feel of "New Age Pop", a phrase coined by a Chicago music reviewer.

Kathy Flaherty was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she now lives with her husband Glenn, three cats and two parrots. Her creative abilities emerged as a small child. As a young adult she attended Brown College where she received a degree in Advertising Design. Finding fine art more inspiring, she continued with classes at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Atelier Studio Program of Fine Art, and other programs. The Minneapolis Art Institute has been and continues to be an infinite source of inspiration.

Inspired by Bouguereau, Waterhouse, Payne, O'Keefe, Cezanne and others, Kathy's artistic style, although still evolving, portrays a passion for color and shape to portray the mysterious beauty of the spirit of earthly life forms - whether that be a place in nature, a person, object or abstract representation.

In the artists own words: "I believe the ultimate goal of art is to take the viewer to a place that cannot be communicated with words, to evoke a visceral response that holds some meaning of experience in memory".
